Component 5: Debrief Tying it all together

  1. Opening Minds was a powerful reminder that how we talk to students matters. More importantly, we should probably do more listening and less talking. Providing opportunities for student to engage in dialogue about ideas and situations helps them to develop not only content area knowledge but also social and moral reasoning abilities.

    This book was great. I like how it took our reading method and related it to math. I am looking forward to using what I have learned.
